Hector's dolphins

 

Kia ora everyone today we had to pick an animal out of kiwi, sea lion, hector's dolphin and a sea bird. I decided to choose a hector's dolphin because I was very interested to learn more about them. You could learn little bit more about hector's dolphins by looking on my slide or going on to some kids website's like WWF that's where I got my information from. What animal would you like to learn about?

Egg drop

 

Kia ora everyone on wednesdy we tried doing a science project. We used certain items to use and covered an egg with those items. we could do any design we wanted but we had to use these items

• 3 sheets of A4 photocopy paper

• A plastic bag

• 1m of string

• 1 sheet of A5 thin card

• Cellotape

• Scissors

• Paper to sketch design on We droppe the egg from the height of a stair case our egg broke what project have you done before?

Awesome Angles

 

Kia ora everyone for the past couple of weeks we have been learning in maths about angles acute, obtuse, reflex and straight angles. Today we made a robot on google draw and measured all of the angles. What are some of the angles you know?

Angles

Kia ora bloggers,For numeracy today, we have started to learn about angles.  We learnt about 3 different angles today - acute (less than 90°), right angle (90°), and obtuse (larger than 90° but smaller than 180°).  We also learnt how to use a protractor to measure angles.  We know that we need to measure an angle from a vertice (a corner where two straight lines meet). For our create task, we had to measure three different angles on the first letter of our name - can you  figure out if they are acute, right angle or obtuse?

Gallipoli War

Today we made a canva and wrote about the gallipoli war each of my pages has different thing to talk about say for example one slide would have facts. Is there anything you know about the gallipoli war?

Hundertwasser Art

For a few weeks now we have been doing a sertan peice of art called Hundertwasser he is a famous artest in his art you cant use any straight lines at all he died in 2000. he has used his art in arpements and lots others you should try his art.
